Dumpster Rental FAQs

What items are NOT ALLOWED in a Trash Monkey Dumpster?
By local and federal laws we are unable to accept any liquids (such as paint), toxic, or hazardous wastes (herbicides, pesticides, oils, fuels), tires, mattresses, any appliances containing Freon (such as refrigerators and freezers), computer monitors, or TVs.  We also don’t allow a dumpster FULL of extremely heavy materials such as concrete, soil, bricks, or tile.  You may have some of those items, just not a FULL dumpster of them.

How far can I fill the dumpster?
All contents in the dumpster must be flush with the top of the container so that we can tarp each load.  Please do not fill the dumpster over the sides. All items must fit inside. We cannot pickup any overloaded dumpsters. All customers will be responsible for removing any excess and will be charged a $100.00 return trip fee.

What is the weight limit?
The price we quote for a 15 yard dumpster includes the disposal of 1 ton (2000 lbs.) in contents. Our 20 yard dumpster price includes the disposal of 2 tons (4000 lbs.) in content. If the weight of your dumpster exceeds these allotted amounts, we charge $80 prorated per ton over.  The total maximum weight of any dumpster is 6 tons.

How long can I keep the dumpster?  The rental period depends on the nature of your business and how long you need the dumpster. We offer 7 day, 2 week, and monthly rentals.  You can tailor the rental to fit your needs.  We are flexible!  If you need to extend the rental period for a few extra days, we charge an additional $50.00 per day, up to THREE days based on availability.  If you require an extended rental beyond a few days, you may contact Trash Monkey and we will work with you to offer you a competitive rate, so that you only pay for what you need.

Can I relocate the dumpster? Once the dumpster has been placed, it CANNOT be moved by the customer.  The customer is responsible for any damages or repairs needed for damaged containers.  Please call us if the dumpster needs to be relocated and we will happily work with you.
